i'm washing the dishes while you wipe the table. we just had pizza for dinner; a simple takeout cause we were too tired to cook. this morning, i yelled at you for putting your wet towel on the bed and you yelled at me cause my hair was all over the sink as you were washing your face in our bathroom where two brushes sat together in a snoopy mug we bought from japan (our anniversary trip) and the scent of your shampoo that overpowered mine fills the bathroom.
there's a bottle of unfinished jasmine green tea on the dining table which belongs to me. i asked you to put it in the fridge but you said there's barely any space left after you stack your yoghurt in it so we took one yoghurt out to share and my drink sat amongst your yoghurts. i never understand your fascination with this regular plain yoghurt cause there are other brands that have even tastier yoghurt but you said you liked it because that's the first yoghurt you introduced to me and despite its simplicity, there's something grand in the way we share a spoon; how you decided right there and then that it's me who you're gonna share the rest of your life with.
so pardon me when i turn grumpy cause there's no space for my green tea in the fridge or when my hair fall inconveniences your morning routine or my idea of a dinner is takeout pizza though i promised steak dinner in the morning, i hope you keep choosing me.
